Smooth and supple
LoFric Plus is made from polyether block amide (PEBA) which makes it highly flexible, with a smooth surface layer. PEBA has been thoroughly tested and well documented in medical use. It contains no plasticisers, but derives its softness from a special combination of polyamide and polyether.
Like LoFric, the hydrophilic surface layer of LoFric Plus consists of PVP and salt. LoFric Plus offers the same balanced osmolality as the original LoFric PVC catheter and is just as safe and reliable for the user — but it is now safer for our planet as well.
Kind to the environment
LoFric Plus contains no plasticisers, and is chlorine-free. This makes it more environmentally friendly during the manufacturing process, in use, and when the catheter is finally incinerated. LoFric Plus is not only kind to users, but also kind to the environment.
Indications
LoFric Plus can be used to empty the bladder occasionally and intermittently in hospital or at home.
